Posting pictures

I have a question , what is the best server service to use that will post your pictures in forums like this one that can be expanded to full screen when the smaller picture is clicked on ? Right now I am using “Shutterfly” and I can’t get the pic’s to expand much . I use a cheap Kodak 3.1 megapixel camera and printer dock but when I view them here at home the pictures are clear and large and that is what I want when I post stuff . Thanks in advance .

Mike,

I use a Kodak like yours on occassion, I think the pixes should be big enough. They won’t be as big as the Kodak software you’re using–if you are–on your home computer, but they will be big enough. As for the rest of your question, I eagerly await answers, too.

I use photobucket, http://photobucket.com/ and it seems to do well enough. Here is a sample.

I like it . Is it a free service ?

Yes, but they will send you a lot of advertising (which I eliminate via email filters as junk).

Yeah me and Triggy use photobucket and it is free. Can make different folders etc…

Yes. Paste it into the “photo” tool in the “posting composition” window. You know, the one that looks like a picture of a tree. When you open that “tool” there will be an “http” automatically in the window, just erase it and paste in the adress properties of your photo. (the required “http” will be in the data you are pasting in.)

Mike,

If you’re using Photobucket, posting photos here is a breeze. Underneath each photo, you’ll see three links:
Direct link
HTML link
IMG link.

You’ll want to use the IMG link. Cut and paste that link into the forum post. That’s it!

Thanks everyone , big help .
