Um, I notice a lot of members have the same photo(s) or GIF image with each post. Do you have to type the link to that image every time you reply, or is there a way for this data to automaticaly be included with each post/reply?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Go to your profile and about halfway down the page, there is one box that says Signature - Text Only Version and one that says Signature - Text & Graphics Version
If you want to add a pic just insert the url for the pic into the text & graphic version box. Also make sure you’ve checked the box that allows your signature to be displayed, its under the Board Settings closer to the top of the page.
The easiest way to display pics is to get a free photobucket.com or equivelant account and upload the pics there and then copy and paste the url they give you for the pic you wanted displayed.

Thanks!
Yea I have a picture URL in that box but it doesn’t load it. Oh well I don’t need a snazzy picture, except I do.
I use dial up connection at home (call me low budget). I have to mention large photos takes a quite a while to load. However, I don’t think the Admin suggest or limits the size you can post.
Yes, if you do put an image on your signature, please keep it under 50K. Anything larger is beginning to get inconsiderate of folks on dial up.
I’ve noticed some people have images of 200K to over 500K in their signatures. 500K is half a megabyte, for crying out loud!
You can lean up your images by making them smaller and saving them with more compression. Getting a nice looking JPEG for your signature that’s under 50K is easily possible and it’s the courteous thing to do.
If you don’t know how to make your image more lean, then perhaps you shouldn’t be putting images in your signature … something to consider. [swg]
