Postwar consumer catalog collection

Hi everyone,

I wanted to show you my Postwar consumer catalog collection. It is a pretty complete set and all catalogs are mint. 1945 is a mint reprint. The only catalog I am missing for myself to think it is complete is the 1950 replacement catalog printed in black and red ink only. It took a while to complete this set.

Nice collection.

I have them from 50-58 all of them received in those years, some are pretty well worn.

I have bid on some sets at auctions but was never high bidder.

Most of my collection was acquired before children. lol. It took me about 6 months to find and purchase the catalogs. I really enjoy them!

Great collection, how do you keep people from trying to get them down and look at 'em?

Thanks for the compliments! They are hung up around the wall right below the ceiling so no one can reach them. :slight_smile:

I also have the two “half size” catalogs I somehow forgot to put up. I forget the years.
