Hello, I have a 275 watt ZW transformer from the 1950’s and I have a problem with it. The left handle is very loose and cause my E-Unit on my steam engine to trip or constantly change directions. I have new rollers installed and the power is very good, just a loose handle. How do i fix this problem?? I have no repair manuals on ZW’s. Or should i just take it to my hobby shop and they can do it for me. Will it cost me alot to do that?? or should i save the money and try it myself??..thanks
Hello Lionel2! I think that you would be better off to take your ZW to your Lionel Dealer & let them fix or replace the Handle that is loose as the old one may be worn out to the point where it fits loose on the Shaft or the screw that holds it on may be stripped also. Hope this helps. Take Care.
