Pot Toppers!!

First off I want to thank whomever posted up the idea of Pot Toppers.

I finnally got to a Michael’s store that has them. They ran $2.99 per bag and thought I would post up some photos and such for your all concideration.

And the flip side:

And with an HO gon to give some perspective:

And now the back:

It is interesting stuff - One might want to tone down that green shinny plastic though…

Here is a shot to show the thickness, which is every bit of a 1/2 inch. And can you see the “crumbs” on the table? The back side will need a shot of glue to keep it from messing things up.

Ok, that will about do it. Shoot any questions ya have and I will try to answere them, but keep in mind I’ve never used it… I’m just posting as I go :O)

Hello??? No one??? :stuck_out_tongue:

ok, I’ll bite. What are pot toppers? And what are you going to use them for? Loads for open gondolas, and what else?

I bought some and it make very realistic grass.

Hi: I have used some. I find it’s similar to Silflor. I think it works better if the top green part is separated from the bottom. It’s also thicker than Silflor.

Thanks Gramps and Jack. I knew someone had used them! Them Pot Toppers were on my “cool items list” and was out shopping yesterday for weathering supplies and remembered this item so I picked it up to see what it was all about.

Personally, I wish the “Pot Toppers” threads in all the forums would stop ! …

… My local Michaels can’t keep them in stock !!! [;)]

Mark.

I just wish I could find some here.
