I need to find a power screwdriver that has a sensitive clutch. The standard power screwdrivers such as craftsman, either have no clutch, or have a clutch which does not release even at the lowest settings when I am tightening a screw in a european style 8 pin connector. I have to wire a lot of 8 pin connectors. Anyone found a power screwdrive with a real sensitive clutch? Price also matters.
Hmmm. An interesting idea. I could likely use one, too. I look forward to the answers.
As an aside, I’m a contractor, and I never saw any of “my” magazines review power screwdrivers. That affected my decision to renew.

Even if they did make one…it would really have to be small…but I would rather use a small 3inch screw driver which fits the hole…better feel, more control.
Take Care! [:D]

I don’t know if the Craftsman 4 Volt Drill is still available but the one I have is terrific! It has two speeds, 200 RPM low & 600 RPM high. It has a 24 step clutch that works perfect. It has a ¼” hex snap lock chuck. The power switch “trigger” is three position, Forward-Off-Reverse, great feature! It even has a bright LED to light up the drill bit. It’s small too, 7½" from the chuck to the back.
I have put my little drill through hell and it just keeps going. The original battery was a Lithium Ion 2200 mah battery and probably because of my over working it it only lasted about a year. I replaced the battery with a 18650 4200 mah battery and it’s still doing it’s thing.
I did a Google search this morning and it is still listed as available from Sears.
