The metal Atlas uses to make their frogs on the Code 83 track (at least #4 and #6 turnouts) does not take solder, even when the blackening is filed clean. Only other thing I can think to do it tap the hole and install a brass 2-56 screw and solder to that. Does anyone have a better idea?

Is there a metallic conducting glue that you could use, a conducting epoxy, maybe? Seems to me that I heard about such a product once.
Addendum- Randy, would it be feasible to press the wire onto the frog and bind it with a dab of hot glue, or any glue? If you file the wire end, or pinch it flat, and press it into place, you might get a decent contact. Who knows?
Hmm, that’s an interesting idea. It just might make good enough contact to work. I might just leave them unpowered so long as it works (which it does - but I believe in being thorough - my track feeders are all SOLDERED to the bus, none of those crimp-on things). Strange that the provide a nice eyelet to solder a wire to but use a material you can’t solder, at least not without popping the frog out - I thought I ruined one testing it out but I was able to press the frog back in with a drop of CA and you’d never know.
