The new steam locomotive being produced today put my old brass locomotives to shame in sound, running performance, and price. It is really an exciting time for steam lovers
The engine runs great. I have had major issues with the sound system. I can not get the DC controller to work with the Crest walk around system that I use to control the layout. I also do not like the fact you cannot turn the sound down manually! I had to disconnect the sound to run the engine! If any one has an idea to get the DC Controller to work with These throttles please email me at john_rylnd@yahoo.com. THANKS
I have the 2102, has nice detail, running it on the PC Master for know, a little slow, with that, but hope to get a DCC system soon.It run’s real nice on that set-up.Has great sound. I grew up along the Reading Line, and had rode behind the 2102, a few times. It’s housed about 35 miles from my place,at Port Clinten Pa.Nice work.
