Preiser modern style figures
I find these to be best quality figures available, my collection is growing.
The Alpine hiking pants in the Wanderers Standing set is not dated by any means. This style of dress is very common today in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and other countries in Europe.

Prieser figures are top quality, plenty of fine detail and excellent painting.
From their catalog be aware that the economy “Preisewerte Sets” - usually boxed 6 seated or 6 standing - do not have the same paint fine details and won’t stand extra close examination. Those economy figures are best used for seated passengers in passing trains or more distant figures.
If you feel like a challenge then details can be added to the economy sets, or buy the “unbemalte Figuren” unpainted figures and assemble and paint them yourself - not sure though if it’s worth the trouble to do that as the “ready to run” figures are just so good.

I am always a little leery when manufactures do not give prices - the cost is what it is but most of us have to measure cost / quality for ourselves.
