Good Day,

Did I ever mention…I like purple! Presenting the 21^st Century Atlantic Coast Line ES44AC.

The Swafford Series color schemes are color schemes from the past represented on 21st Century Diesel Locomotives and rolling stock. My goal is to create inventive and dynamic color schemes that would look striking on model trains.

I like it!

It’s interesting that CSX and Union Pacific are two Class 1 railroading giants. Yet, their corporate philosophies differ so greatly. But then again, isn’t Union Pacific’s use of Heritage Railroad schemes connected with the trademark related legal facets?

Would be so cool if CSX chose to refinish some of their modern units into ancestry paint schemes: ACL, SAL, L&N, Clinchfield, B&O, C&O, or go a little more modern and do SCL and Chessie System.

I think it’s really cool that Intemountain is releasing the Fantasy schemes on their ES44ACs. I just preordered 2 of the D&RGWs.

I emailed intermountain asking them for a release date, and they said late Sept or early Oct.

Oh I can’t wait…

To date, I have created over 100 Heritage color schemes. There were 150 Class I railroads 50 years ago. I say “bring them back”…The color schemes from the past are classics.
