Preserving the magazine

I want to encourage Kalmbach Pub. to make available slip cases like the majority of other hobby magazines have. There could be two for each year, given the heft of each issue. I find this method of saving the magazine much more convenient than the post and binder method now available. What’s the general opinion?
At the present time, I use ream sized cardboard boxes. The slipcasses would make a better appearance on my shelves. Al Olsen

Yes, please do that. Slip cases (especially if they were made to look nice) would be much better than binders. I would encourage you to do it for all Kalmbach periodicals.

Sincerely,
Daniel

I have gotten used to binders, and kind of like them. If they do decide to make slipcases, I hope they won’t stop making binders.

I just went to the Container Store and bought about 20 slipcases. I don’t like the binders. I find that the spines tend to flex over the years, peeling off that blue paper that attaches to the front and back “covers” with the result that the entire binder sags.

The slipcovers I got are all plastic, some black, some white (they didn’t have enough of either, and I didn’t really care about the color) and have little tabs that allow you to hook them all together.
