Preview the October 2015 issue of Classic Toy Trains magazine
As a subscriber I have already received and enjoyed the October issue. The historical pieces by Roger Carp are wonderful - how does he continue to come up with these gems? As for the musical accompaniment I was in toy train heaven - perfect!
May I add a PS to my earlier comment. I also enjoyed Carl Swanson’s “Editor’s Desk” piece in the October issue about his formatting the CTT DVD-ROM. Before retiring I had been an academic librarian for 36 years and indexing a database as described by Carl brought back memories of that labor intensive, but gratifying job . Well done Carl!
My October issue of CTT arrived weeks ago, filled with excellent articles, photos, and how to do projects I’d like to try some day. My comment is that today’s newsletter previews this issue; why not preview November’s issue? It would be great to read about what the editors are planning to include in the next CTT, rather than about the issue I have been reading these past weeks. It could be done by delaying the preview a bit, rather than presenting it after the magazine has been sent to me.
