problems with making a new activity.

I’m not sure what I did, but when working in the Activity Editor for a new activity I no longer can see where I place consists. The purple outlines of the cars are no longer there on any activity. Yes I have service info checked so it will show it but still nothing. Can anyone help. The last thing I did before this happened was to try to make an event location but it didn’t work.
