Was just wondering why LIONEL can’t do like MTH does on there web site about finding there product at a dealer. On MTH you can type in a product number and it will show what dealer has it . But on LIONEL it dose not, why can‘t they??? I for One sure wished they would. Gary
I’ve found the MTH Dealer Search pretty frustrating. I can’t think of one search I’ve made where a particular dealer actually HAD the product, yet I’ve found it at dealers not even listed. In fact, it happened again yesterday while searching for Rugged Rails PRR Madison cars. Joe
I don’t think dealers would spend much time updating a list for the manufacture. I also don’t think very many would like to have a “live” computer hookup to MTH or anyone else.
Some dealers don’t want everyone being able to do a quick scan and place a value on their inventory. The list is long why it won’t get much traction.
