Help!!! I once had a red baseball hat with the Santa Fe Railroad insignia on it. The insignia was round and primarily red and centered on the front of the hat. Unfortunately I had to remove it because of a bit of metal to go through screening. This was at BWI. airport near Baltimore, MD. I failed to recover the hat during the confusion. I have attempted to replace the hat, but due computer replacements, etc I misplaced the identification of the website where I originally ordered it. I got a series of hats from this website for example a green hat with the Southern Railroad insignia. None of the hats used stickers or decals the insignias where sewn and of top quality.

Does any one out there in railroad land have an idea about what this website was as I would like to replace the Santa Fe hat and possibly get hats for other roads?.

A web search for “railroad hats” was quite productive.

To Cardinalrider: You may have thought of this already, but try visiting a toy train meet in your area. There’s usually railroad apparel dealers exhibiting, in addition to other railroadiana dealers. I see you live in Columbia Md., there’s the Great Scale Model Train Show coming to the fairgrounds in Timonium June 25-26, and the Greenberg Train Show in Cantilly Va. at the Dulles Expo Center August 27-28. Haven’t been to the Scale Show but Greenberg’s usually pretty good. Good hunting!

If you do a search on “Union Pacific Store” you will turn up a merchandiser that has about a dozen varieties of caps with that railroad’s logo.
