On your layout, does your benchwork profile board come up to the exact height of your scenery or did you bring it up a little more, maybe for protection, safety etc.?

Mine came right up to the scenery where I filled it in with Sculptamold.

On our Free-mo modules we like to have the fascia generally follow the terrain, and can be higher in the hills and lower in the swales. The hills can also slope up from the edge then crest and go down to a cut where the track is. I make my hills out of stacked layers of 2" foam, and use 1/8" “door skin” sheet cut into 6" to 8" wide strips for the fascia. Glue it on with blue label Liquid nails for projects. If there is a visible gap I just caulk it with paintable caulk. The scenery hides flaws well! Don’t be afraid to experiment! jc5729 John Colley, Port Townsend, WA
