If you read the post called non prototype locomotives go to the last post by me about how i am planning to build HPA/HPB units for the GDRMCo. well i have got the design on the computer and it will be in N scale. the two units will be a cab unit and a booster in black with the blue gem streched across the front like ups wing herald.

What software can i use to lift lines from a photo and develope a line drawing for modeling purposes???

Getting lines from a photo is done using Layers (You literally draw the lines over the photo), and requires one of: Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or The GIMP. The first is expensive, the second is marginal and the third is not easy to learn.
