Projects I have been working on. Auto related 1:87 scale

Well I had to stop working on my SDL39 waiting on parts that I need. So I decided to mess with a car I got on Ebay and worked on taking parts off of an Atlas Ford F150. Please feel free to post comments, or suggestions. I havent used microsol yet or clear coated the car.

Supra

Original Apperance: Plan Black car, and dull chrome rims.

Supra Modifications I did: Brightened Chrome Rims, and added Car door, and Hood graphics.

Atlas Ford F150

Well its was undecorated when I gotit and it still is. I took it apart which one was a pain the window was glued in. Anyhow

Original: Undecorated I have removed Taillights, headlights, side mirrors.

What I have done to it so far is painted the rims and bumpers.

I can commiserate on the F-150 , did a fleet for my shortline last year , popping out all the taillights and headlights etc. is a real trip. Re-painting and putting all tose little parts back in is a riot.

Your teling me those little tail lights are easy to lose. I even broke a cab. Wish they wouldnt glue everything. You did a great job on your trucks

For modern pickups, try the River Point Station Fords. They are easy to disassemble.

I heard of them. But I like the fact that Atlas is everywhere and easily obtainable. Luckily i got a hold of parts department and they are replacing the window and cabs. Now theres a company who appreciates our business.

Oh, for sure they are in my future , nice models . Looking forward to all their projects.

After looking at their website I will be picking them up also when more is available.
