Hahahahahaha!!!
Oh, sorrry,…ahem…
That it is a classic.
“Its the worst wreck I have ever seen…”
Almost as funny as a trip to the urologist’s office.
LOL! [:o)] [:P]
[xx(]Or the proctologists office…bend over and cough!
Course you’ve got that old stereotype of the model railroader being a chubby guy with a beard and an engineer’s cap, when really…o wait a minute, I just looked in the mirror. Never mind!! [:-^]
Don’t forget the jealous wife that’ll sabotage your layout. I remember my Mom pulling up some track on a blind curve on my Dads layout. I do remember what the outcome was, a couple more hours out with the guys on bowling night.
Lucky for me, Im not one of those old guys yet and hope to not be for a long time since I am only 18. I havent had any sabatogers yet on my HO Rocky Midland RR yet but now I guess I better keep my eyes open for that. My biggest problem is that my family thinks they have to touch the trains as they roll by…frustrating.

snickers in the corner>
Snicker while you can, Duff! Our younger (for now) granddaughter (somewhat older than Sadie, but not yet to the Terrible Twos) is at the Godzilla stage–if Thomas and friends have their tracks on the floor, she takes great pleasure in terrorizing the town. She plays nicely with them when they’re up on a table, though. Anyway, Mommy, you’ve got a lot to look forward to!
I am living proof that, no matter how much they like trains, you shouldn’t let the youngins touch them without supervision until they’re at least 12…
Oh, the humanity [:(]
Yes, you are right there. I have to agree with that. Little children should not hang around railroad tracks under 12 years old. Rochelle at the railroad park can be a classic example of this sometimes. I can’t tell you how many times I see little kids running all over the tracks there.

The goal is the cats…in two years…[:D][:D]
Pretty good, but I still have the odd nightmare to this very day about THE scale-train-wreck Maniac of all time - the infamous Gomez Addams:

Horrible ! just Horrible ! How many poor souls were lost in this tragic accident, who was the photographer who happened to be close to the wreck? was he a train watcher guy?? I have been trying to find the follow-up in the news and news paper but can’t seem to find a thing about it, sort of like trying to find news about the athlete that gave back her gold medals. Just how many people were injured in this wreck, I didn’t see any mention from members of this forum who report on every derailment in North America 5 minutes after it happens, I’m still having nightmares.
I was told quarters would do it. I and a friend put a few things on the tracks years ago that I know I shouldn’t have. Nothing happened but I know it was stupid. We put a fan on once and they actually stopped the train to take it off.
Red Pullman should have at least switched couplers first. When you get to the You tube page with this video, check out the one shown on the side called train wreck that features an Amtrak train and the song. It’s pretty hard hitting.
