Hope this subject will just note proposed improvements effecting Amtrak. Once any are actually started then we need another subject. To start this off here is a proposal in Salt Lake city to lower tracks thru town and restore the D&RGW train station to serve both Amtrak and Salt Lacy City’s light rail.

Hello exhaust fumes!

Anyone remember Chicago Union Station and the former U.S.Post Office building issues with locomotive exhaust fumes. And that did not include freight trains.
