proto 2000 0-6-0 backup light?

I have just purchased a second hand proto 2000 0-6-0, and have just noticed that the backup light is missing. The bulb is still in place inside the tender but the light itself is gone. Is there any way I could source a replacement? The cab apron is also missing but other than that the model is flawless

If you mean the lens, then you can get clear or transparent plastic film. For the light assembly many companies sell details such as Bowser and Details West. You can also do a search on the Walthers site.

thanks Richard, the entire assembly is missing, leaving a big square hole in the tender that the light shines through

Try contacting Walthers. They may either send you the rear headlight assembly…or sell it to you.

trainguy4466, if you can’t find one let me know and I’ll mail it to you. I replaced all mine with Precision Scale brass castings and saved the originals. Just send me a message with your address and I’ll send it out to you. P.S. Don’t post it here.
