Does anybody know where the Proto 2000 archive of past locomotive releases can be found? I don’t need to go all the way back to the beginning, just the past five years or so. I’ve tried google and putting it several different ways in a search of the Walthers site. No joy so far. Any help is appreciated.
As far as I know that wonderful archive went away when Walthers took down the Life-like web site. I asked about it about 6 months ago and the person I was talking to didn’t know if it would ever come back. They were still trying to get the parts supply worked out, so weren’t worried about a web page at that time.
One suggestion is try the Liflike Canada website if their link is still active. That or Canadian Model trains may be aable to help you out. They are a Toronto area hobby shop that carries allot of LL product.

Thanks very much. What I’m attempting to find out is how many road numbers were released by LL for the SD50 in Chessie livery. Any chance that maybe somebody here knows the answer to that?
Just a stab in the dark, but you usually get two numbers and an unnumbered one from them.At least the Lifelike Canada releases of Canadian road names were like that.If they did a second or third run ( depending on the locomotive ) They would run two more numbers with each rerun ( all different ) For example LL Canada has run CN and CP GP 7’s and 9’s at least three times so there was at least six different roadnumbers run.The SD50’s and 60’s I would think only had one or maybe two runs done at most, so I would guess that there would be somewhere between 2 and 4 different numbers floating around out there.Again if LL US followed the same practice as the CDN subsidurary.

Thanks Trolley, I think you’re right as I have three rd#'s now. I’ll just keep my eyes peeled at shows and on ebay. There are also 3-4 LHS’s within acceptable driving distance which keep pretty large inventories. I appreciate you suggestions.
