I have one of the above and it has run well along with many other dcc equipped locos on my Lenz 01 system, but recently I cannot take it through the shut down procedure. It is as if F9 hit twice does not work, but it works on others.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how can it be resolved?
Try doing a ‘reset’ on the engine and the n reprogram it.

I’ve tried to reset it using the magnetic wand, followed by reprogramming but there appears to be no change. PS It may be a GP7 not a GP9! Everything else works fine, but I do like the sound of the door closing after full shutdown!
I’ve had that problem with my ONR GP9, it would just sit there and wouldn’t shut off. I just kept taking it off the track, letting it sit for a couple minutes and then it would be fine. It takes awhile for it to power down and shut off so just hit the button once and see what happens. I don’t think the “wand” does anything except turn up and down the volumn.
Wand? Not sure what the wand does, but all I can picture in my mind is controlling our trains the way Harry Potter would. Wouldn’t that be cool?
