I saw this today while out train watching. It is pulling gondolas full of ties. [:D]

Wouldn’t that be neat to model for a modern day MOW scene. Years ago, no, centuries ago I remember our local feed mill used a Farmall H tractor to pull boxcars to the loading dock. About a year ago, while unloading a load of steel at a northern suberb of Detroit I watched a large frontend loader shuttle hopper cars around a cement batch plant next to where I was unlaoding at. Thanks big boy.

Nope. A-A-B-A-A. There are retractable rail wheels behind the front axle (under the cab) and at the rear of the truck.

The rear axle isn’t powered. In fact, in that photo it’s also raised…
