Have there ever been any PRR heavy weight passenger coaches with round top or curved top windows? I have a set of 8 AHM PRR passenger coaches for sale and an interested party asked if they were the ones with “round top windows” On the models only the vestibule windows have curved tops the rest are all typical windows as seen on every passenger coach.at least as far as I have ever seen.
Not sure on the PRR per se, but rounded upper windows were common on wood passenger cars, rare on steel cars. An example would be the old MDC Pullman Palace cars.
Some very early steel cars were made to look like wood cars, up to having scribing to make them look like they were made from wood boards…some of those might have had rounded top windows.
