PRSL in Camden, NJ

I am looking for help in finding photos of the Pa. Reading Seashore Lines operating on the raised fill viaduct and trestles through the city of Camden. This stretch is currently being used by PATCO and I know that some forty of fifty years ago the PRSL had to have used it to get out of Camden to head for Atlantic City. Curiously, though, I have never seen in any books on the railroad or its owner lines the PRR and the Reading any diesel or steam driven trains on this portion of the line. PATCO photographs on this segment look good and I’d like to see what this area looked like back then with older equipment. Thanks.

Contact Bill Vigrass at billvigrass@comcast.net and he can help you.

Thanks, Dave. I’m really curious as to why I can find no such pictures of trains in that part of Camden given their one time frequent runs.

Dave: I’ve tried that address and it won’t come up. It keeps saying cannot connect. Is this still an active site ?

That looks like an email address to me.
