Pulp train in the snow
Ilya–
Thankyou for the compliments!
I run my engine in some quite cold conditions, well below freezing, I guess the coldest I have run is about 15 degrees F- minus 10 C.
I get the engine prepared indoors and light the fire, When it is almost ready to run, I take it out and set it on the track. the cold air will slow the butane fire but once the engine is hot, it works fine. the engine should not be left out in the cold long after running either…as you said, it will freeze and break stuff.
Respectable Mr. Eric, You have a wonderful railroad!
Please tell me, what temperature was on that day in Your region?
In January I received similar live steam locomotive from “Accucraft”.
This is my first live steam locomotive. I decided to run it in spring.
Now we have - 2 -3 Сentigrade in Moscow and I am afraid that water will freeze inside small parts of my locomotive and it will be broken.
Mr. Eric, is It possible to run live steam locomotives when it is negative temperature in Winter?
Ilya
very good
I’m tired of the cold and snow this year, especially the cold. Looking forward to working in the garden. Your video is excellent! I would really like to see a similar one for each season. That might even give some new garden railroaders a look at what could be. Thanks for posting.
Great layout Eric! Excellent videography. I especially liked the ground level camera angles. Love the “snow run”. Unfortunately my layout is still totally buried.
This is just wonderful, Eric! Such fun to watch. Well done.
Nice
GREAT CAMERA WORK HOW BIG IS THE LAYOUT?
Outstanding but the snow got to go. I lived in the white stuff as a kid in Buffalo in the 50"s and 60’s
