I used the buy it now option, which qualified for free shipping. He even refunded the shipping cost as the checkout process forced me to pay it.

Save ALL your e-mails about the purchase! E-bay is a place to be very, very careful. I have made only 4 purchases and have had no problems, but then I am very, very careful of who I buy from, and do a lot of research before I bid.
