Hey guys, I stopped by the Q353 derailment in Homestead, just east of Pittsburgh last night and came away with this photo showing the 15 car derailment, with one coke car completely fallen over and coke spilling out of both the top and bottom.

I love shape digital photos! Your photo must have taken up a bunch of byte space. Good optics help too.
Good catch ! Definitely an unusual view - tells a story.
The closest car looks like it just needs to be set back on its trucks and the hoppers repaired. The next one, though - even though it stayed upright - looks badly bowed out on the left and twisted down at the near left corner, so it’s probably scrap.
Do you have another image a little further to the right that shows the track approaching this scene and the rest of the trucks ?
Hey Paul, that is the best shot I could get as “authorities” had the area blocked off as a precautionary measure.
