The G-wire receiver is also useful for adding wireless control to lighting in other areas such as a caboose. Wired to a small HO decoder it will work with the NCE controller in this article or the Airwire T-9000. I just wish QSI hadn’t priced the G-wire so high.
I agree the price is a killer. For those of us with a lot of motive power the cost is a bit much. I have the original QSI units in my Mikado and an RS-3 and they do the job just fine. No need for stereo. I hope they find a way to lower their prices.
