That’s how VIA kills trains. They “suspend service” because of “lack of equipment” or “long term line maintenance” and then when those problems have resolved themselves, the service never returns.
Considering that the Province now owns the track and has declared that a section will cost too much to put back into service, I do not see how VIA can be blamed for the abolition of the service.
