Question about Factory Direct Trains

I was viewing my account history and it seems that back in June I placed the Blue Line EMD E7 on preorder. Well, I checked the order status today, and it says “shipped”. How can this be if the E7’s haven’t even arrived yet? The total price says $0.02

Under shipping method, it says “shipping not required”.

Secondly, a few days ago I ordered a california zephyr car and the status of the order says “pending product hold”.

I’m a little confused by whats going on to say the least. Particularly about how it says the E7 has shipped when it hasn’t even arrived yet, and if it has shipped, why my total is only $0.02

Anybody else have these problems on the order status page over there?

Mine reflects my status accurately. You’ll have to contact them and point out the errors. Probably a staff member with a stiff bandaid on one finger that day.

Don’t they have some kind of funky “pre-order for a penny” thing? I would say your pre-order was successfully processed and charged, and since it was a pre-order, no shipping is required.
