Question I hope seombody can answer??

HI Guys

I have a small 4x8 layout, I don’t have alot of space on the layout to stage trains that I would like to run in a session How’s a way that I can keep the trains in easy reach to lift on a off the layout after they do there run ? also how can I keep track of the trains that ran so I know what was run and not ran so I know for the next session.

any advice would be great.

Jeremy

I saw advertized in Railroad Model Craftsman several months ago a cradle used for listing locomotives on and off the track with actually having to handle it. It was a case of where there was a plastic box with a metal bottom, that had little ramps at the end and there was an HO Gauge hole in the middle to hold the trains. THere were gates on the end to keep it from rolling off. The problam I am having is I cant remember the company that made this name. Maybe fellow forum members know? In any event, I am sure you can use this aproach on a lenghtened scale to hold an entire train or section of train. The pricess is simple eneugh I am sure one could be home made if the company doesn’t make them in the lenght neccissary.

It sort of sounds like you really like to keep track of your trains! I think this sort of calls for a notebook to keep track of your train arrangements.
