question on fa units

might sound stupid ,but well a A unit shell fit on a B unit chassie …proto 2k fa set ,I know lights would be a issue,but is that it or is the whole thing differant

I have some Proto FA units. Haven’t had them apart lately, but if I recall, the A and B units have the same chassis. Just no lights in the B unit. Why would you want to put the A shell on the B chassis?

Yes, they will interchange.

Should be fine, I turned a powered E-6 A in to a B unit and turened a Athearn powred A into a B as well.
