The plan is on this site http://www.kato-unitrack.co.uk/kato-ho-unitrack-planning-ideas-2283-0.html

THANK YOU SO MUCH,D Schmitt,

I am going to use the info you sent , even if the letters are not on back of kato’s track, just knowing that the size and look of each piece ,will be a great help,I should have signed on this site years ago. I am sure I would have saved a ton of money and pains in my head.lol thank you again.John

I went out and checked the HO Unitrack I have for around the Christmas tree and there are little tiny letters on the bottoms of the tracks, but they don’t map to the grid above. Then I pulled out the N-Scale Unitrack I have from my first foray into the hobby and there are no letters at all. Is there a legend anywhere on the plan that defines the use of the letters?

The grid defines the letters. It does not include all the various track sections made, only those that apply to the plans on the linked page that have the letters on them. The grid also gives the Catalog number and description. Both are on the packaging in which the sections are sold.
