Questions for Forum Admin.

  1. How is it that links to some posts have names and cities listed, but others don’t? How does one provide that info to the link.

  2. Could it be made possible to download a whole thread at a time, or at least a big chunk of one with just a click. This would make it much easier and quicker to follow a thread. Sometimes my on line time is very limited and it would be helpful to be able to read offline in spurts as time permits.

Thankyou
RmC

Ps: I agree The typing of the name is anoying. I Really would like to see an members directory so you can E mail people personaly, also an open chatroom (Per fourm) would be neat!

Good points, all of them. I have also found this to be an awkward forum to use. The one thing that I DO like though, is the automatic advancement to the top of the list, of responded-to posts. That feature should certainly remain, should Kalmbach give this site a much needed overhaul.

forum quest. should be sent to the editor via the ‘contact us’ link at the page bottom… they will not respond publicly to anything…

To the contrary, cabforward. I will let you know that we are a couple of weeks away from new forums at Trains.com (provided everything goes smoothly).

Thanks for your continued patience.
