Hey look.I grew an orchard.
(OK I know I’m petty, but this is a great achievement in slugland)
((plus the forum is quiet and I thought I’d get away with it)[:D]![]()
hehe, It’s a forrest, really, you just have to imagine it a lot of years from now [(-D]

Did you take the picture of the orchard from your roof top? It looks like the camera was way up in the air.
Regards
Bob
Troy, what kind of plants did you use? Inquiring minds want to know!!!
SandyR
SandyR—good old bog standard marigolds.Work every time!!
I see what you mean Bob but I was just standing up in the garden.
Kim-there are a few plastic dinosaurs in there somewhere. The kids said they would scare the slugs.
The station canopy is really high as I have to get the double deckers under it.
Marigolds… I have them in my garden. But they have become huge, since I live in an arid climate they seem to take off when water is applied. I have no problem with slugs and snales…fire ants are my problem. They do little damage to foliage, but their bite is quite painful and they seem to be attracted to electronics.
Hey Joe have you got fire ants?
If you have can you send some over to me I’ll go you half in the reward!
The state of Queensland offers a reward of $5.00 per thousand ants and we cqn get rich.
Sorry about the headstones (tombstone) Doreen is in charge of making them ans she has been too busy getting readi for us to go over seas, if you know me you know that sooner or later I will send them too you as promises.
Ian The gravestone King
Don’t worry about it, Ian, should you send them they will make a great suprise during the school year. I’ve set up a small place where I intend the place the graveyard.
Since my father is building a new house at our small ranch, he is going to be parking in a place that is exactally where I want my line to go. I’ve made the decision to simply concentrate on the some 40 feet of track I have…building strutures, trackside materials. When his constrution finishes, mine will begin again. I installed what I have called “Ian’s Curve” and will be installing “Poor Vic’s Curve” but then the constrution will stop for a while.
I’ll have pictures soon.
Troy,
Did you lay some concrete? It look quite nice!!! Don’t forget to clutter the platform area with crates and pallets…a busy rail line is seldom represented by clean platforms. At least in the US, but were are a messy lot!!![:D]
Oh yes, and the Windmill…how is it put together? Bolts? Screws? I have an opportunity to get one similiar and I would like to know of what construction method it employs.
