Quick Boardway limited K4 question...

I am 99% certain I am going to pick up a Boardway limited K4, can someone tell me what the difference is in the 2 models, I have no idea that the slatted or cast pilot is or where its located.

I believe these links to the Bachmann K4 give you a better view - the slatted pilot is pre-war and the cast pilot is post-war. BTW, it’s the loco’s front bumper! [:D]
