Quick question from the Trains forum

Is S gauge 1:32? If a model is 1:32, what gauge is it?

S SCALE is 1:64. Gauge is the width of the track.

O SCALE is 1:48.

The “Large Scale” trains - LGB etc., are all over the scale sizes, but I don’t think anything in model railroading is 1:32 scale.

Bob Boudreau

S scale is 1:64 if memory serves me right.

Thanks for the response. So a 1:32 model is bigger than O gauge, yes?

Boudreau beat me by a few seconds. Must have a faster connection.

Yes.
