Quote function

When I use the quote function in replying to a post my reply doesn’t change the background of the quoted message to yellow. What am I missing?

This was done by clicking on the quote icon in upper right hand corner of posting.

This was done by typing the ‘quote com’ with around it.

both seams to work for me.[;)]

What I do is either click the “quote icon” in the upper right like “spankybird” said. Or you can shorten the quote by erasing the rest down to what you want to post. I don’t think that yellow backaround appears when doing that though.
