Well, From the outside, looking in: Never heard any employees belly aching about anything, other tan Locomotive toilets… They seem to run a heck of a well-respected railroad.[8D]

That may be the reason they dont want outsiders by the rails because they dont want you hearing the bad stuff til your in and qaulified

You must have never worked in the rail industry, because it aint like that little ditty claims.
Railroads treat their help like absolute $#IT most of the time. Why? because they know there’s 1000 rail fans for every 1 employee that would “love” their job… Until they realized it wasn’t like playing with toy choo choos. “What, I have to work in the freezing rain? But it’s 2 degrees outside! I’ll get cold!” … “Too bad, it’s a JOB, not a playgound”.
