Just to let everyone know, The town of Hendersonville will be having a Rail Days at the train depot on Sept 2-3, There is the Ho Model Railroad inside and they will have an NS OLS Loco that you will be able to climb onboard. Ill post more info when I get it.

Doesn’t Bryson City also have a Rail Days in the fall, as well? I trust you have been over there and have taken a ride on the GSMRR.

I went to the Bryson City, NC “Rail Days” last year. BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT IN MY LIFE! Not to say it is every year but it was pretty bad last year.
I havent been to Bryson City yet me and my wife are gonna do the Halloween Mystery Train. This will have a real loco and stuff. I think it will be good for the size of the town.
