We have been spending a lot of time out at what we like to think is our secret location. Its on the NS main here, but there a lot of diff trains that use it. If anyone from around here wants to check it out that would be cool. We also have been spending a lot of time at the rival yard part of CSX here and there is a U-boat GE sitting in the yard by the engine facility that is smashed in the front. We have pics of it. Im not if its still out there but there is also a SD-45 C&O engine switching auto racks. We have pics of it also.
You have Walbridge and Stanley, Ironville, Lang, Vickers and Airline . Maumee is good for switching as is the Ann Arbor near the Chrysler plant. Holland Oh also has the Chicago Harrisburg line.
The area around the Amtrak station has a few good spots too for watching. Just west of it you have the old Sumner st bridge. Then a little west you have the Maumee street bridge which is better for pictures.
Down by the anthony wayne bridge you have the NS line that crosses the maumee river.you also have the toledo terminal with its coaling tower there too.check out key lime road you can see csx trains on a connection near a church playground. If you are lucky you can get an ns grain movement to the andersons in maumee on the tracks right by the toledo zoo too.
stay safe
