desertication? Is that where you get to choose ice cream or cheesecake? I guess Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia and the USA RRs.across deserts are not real. Or could the Chinese be blaming a red herring instead of poor engineering. Nah, they always have high quality as their primary consideration. Not.

Not a new issue!

The deserts are real. Desertication is the expansion of these deserts into the bordering areas that had a bit more rainfall and vegetation. The prime example of this occurrence is the expansion of the Sahara further south into areas that formerly could support herding and some farming.
