Now I’ve finished my H0n3 staging yard “Fiddletown”. Most track is MicroEngineering, the other handlaid. Turnouts are sratchbuild.

Rail size is code 55, but for one track I wanted code 40. This is thestub track next to the station sign.

I’ve soldered the rails to PC board ties and added between wooden ties. No problems. Even the flagman stands on this code 40 track. [:)]

Nice work, Wolfgang.

I hope this will (but I know it won’t) end the argument that different rail sizes are barely discernible after rail is painted and track ballasted. Believe me, if codes 100, 83, or 70 were used, the visual effect would be quite different.
