Check out YouTube web site searching “Bonanza Goldrush” for videos of my garden layout built with metal roadbed from Railbed system.

First off, I have not seen or used this specific product.
However, I welded steel angles that were effectively identical to this product for my own outdoor garden railway in Michigan. We have an annual temperature range of 0 deg F in winter to 100 deg F in summer. There was one problem; that being the steel sections expand and contract at a different rate than the aluminum rail I was using. This led to track sections pulling apart in the dead of winter and expansion “humps” in summer. This issue was primarily in long straight; the curves tended to shift in/out on their own and were “ok”. Ultimately the best solution was to let the track “float” on the steel and not firmly tie it down at all.
