Does anyone know of any haunted Railroad Depots within 200 miles of Rock Springs Wyoming?
Does anyone have any Railroad depot haunting stories to tell?
[#offtopic] Does anyone have any haunting stories in general?

Out of curiosity, why do you want to know? Are you looking for a dead railfan friend? Do you just want a thrill from the supernatural?
Well, i am just interested in paranormal kind of things, I have had some strange experiences and would like to hear other peoples stories if they have them. Myself and some other people are trying to actually plan a ghost hunt in a known haunted library in Green River, If you want a like to the story I can post it. They know the building is haunted, however they have never acctually seen a apparition but there are reports of like pianos playing themselves and other things like that. I am just eally interested in things of that nature.
Miniwyo,
I picked up a book a few years back that was full of railroad hauntings. It covered right of way hauntings, equiptment hauntings and such. The book is in storeage or I would get the info for you but I think it was called “Haunted Railroads”. It was paperback and under 100 pages if I recall.

Near that Avery town,
by the ol’ St. Joe,
when the moon sits high,
and the fog lies low,
you can hear the screams,
from a distant train,
as it hits the souls,
of the dead in vain.

LOL! Allan.
One pleasant evening during the late 1980s, I was in Silver Bow, Mont. “jousting with the forces of spiritus frumenti.” At some point during my nocturnal reverie I could have sworn that I saw a maroon-and-orange Olympian Hiawatha come racing by complete with pair of similarly decorated Bi-Polars on the point, a working Railway Post Office car, Touralux Sleepers, and one of those magnificent Skytop Lounge “Pullmans” bringing up the markers. The moment took my breath away!
Does that count?
One day in 1984,I could have sworn I saw an SP GS4 pulling a solid Daylight train through San Timiteo canyon[:p].
this isnt in your area…but they say that the edger thompson steel mill railroad yard at port perry PA is haunted by brit***roops from the french & indan war… and the old trainstation at mars PA is haunted by a cat…that use to be a pet of an old station clerk…

Amtrack employees talk of the Ghost of On-time service!
All I know is that these guys are smoking something. Aren’t we all a little old for ghost stories? You could watch UFO files or something on the History channel.
Don’t take me too seriously; I didn’t try to offend you too much!
You swore correctly! If you say you saw it, you did! SP 4449 went through Southern California’s San Timeteo Canyon twice that year.
Is this another X-FILE joke?
Allan.
This book may help. It’s called Ghost Train! American railroad ghost legends by Tony Reevy. It tells of haunted depots, tunnels, ect…
when i was going to Philly for my solar car race, i thought i saw the N&W 611 J with the Phowaton Arrow, and i could not believe my eyes that day.
