Railroad Insulators

I have a railroad insulator from and old Santa Fe line in the Central California that is made of glass. It has the word “Hemingray” on the side. I was wondering how made these and how old these might be.

some insulators can bring a pretty penny. icollect them and have found most along right of way at base of old telephone poles.ive gotten 35 dollars for one i found. some fetch thousands of dollars. rubber and plastic are worth very little.
your insulator may be 100 years old, but a photo is needed for acurate as there are hundreds of diff models and many different colors. i have 30 diff. styles lining my shop windows.[:)]
