Railroad Maps

Would anyone happen to know where I can find a good BNSF track map?

Thanks,

Nate

Scale? For?

There are system “maps” on the BNSF website, though they certainly aren’t particularly detailed. However, they do show routes and stations and terminals, such as they are.

I have purchased several track charts from here:

And it appears they have all of the SPV atlases also. Very nice collection of historical and current railroad track/map documentation, especially fallen flags. Jamie

One can receive a very nice wall map from BNSF by contacting their corporate headquarters Investor Relations Dept and asking for it. I would also suggest asking for the annual report and other info. You will receive a big packet of info, including a map.

I’m not clear on what you want to use the maps for, but FWIW, when I go out exploring, I fire up my late-90s version of Street Atlas USA and print off maps of the areas I’m going. I set the map settings to “high detail” and print them. They fit in an 8x11 binder perfectly. They show rail lines and back country roads and are detailed enough to help me get around just fine when I’m out in the “boonies”.
