That’s nothing compared to the ‘wars’ between the CP and GN in southern BC…
history is full of stuff like this… back when the Central P…and the UP where building the trans-con… untill the governement steped…the grades and tracks where being build side by side only a little ways apart from one anothe…and workers from the Central…would blow up and rip up track on the UP…and the UP workers would do the same to the centrals track and grades… to try and slow eachother down…

There was an article in Trains years ago about Conrail, noting their agreement with D&H to run trains on their lines. They said that Conrail was accused of sabotaging the D&H trains, don’t know if it’s true or not, a lot went on back in the early CR days.
